Privacy Policy
NoteBro is designed to help clinicians create reviewable chart summaries from information visible during normal chart review. This policy explains the privacy practices for the public site and the restricted application.
Information Processed
When an approved user uses the application, NoteBro may process account information, EHR screenshots selected by the user, extracted text, generated draft summaries, technical logs, and operational telemetry needed to provide and secure the service.
Clinical Data
EHR screenshots and generated summaries may contain protected health information. Users should only submit information they are authorized to process and should review all generated content before use in clinical documentation.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to authenticate users, verify access approval, generate clinician-reviewed summaries, operate the service, improve reliability, investigate errors, and protect against misuse.
Vendors and Hosting
NoteBro may rely on cloud hosting, authentication, database, logging, notification, and AI model providers. Deployments intended for clinical use should be configured only with vendors and services authorized for the applicable privacy and security requirements.
Retention and Security
NoteBro uses access controls and operational safeguards appropriate to the configured deployment. Retention, deletion, audit logging, and incident response requirements depend on the organization operating the deployment.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact the NoteBro project owner or the organization that provided access to the application.
